Now I am gonna present you all those fancy pictures and artworks I’ve made during the last years.
Look close, sit tight and scroll on.
I’ve done this for the CD release party
of the Irish Band Two Door Cinema Club.
All those characters show the different faces of their music. This is completely hand-drawn and comes out with a nice poster. All on natural cole paper.
In this Branding I took the advocactes attribute and transformed it into a visual element of the randing - the tie! With its monochrome color sheme it’s super easy to handle on every office printer, even on that fresh light grey paper.
Simple, elegant and confidential.
For this project we had to drag one word out of a box with hundreds of terms.
My word was "termite". I’ve done a lot of research to find some parallels between human and those tiny beasts. And behold - there are a lot. All texts are written by myself (except the songs of course).
What is eating wood like we eat burgers? Termites do! These drills are high quality products made of pure titanium.
The termite on the front shows the characteristic of every drill. Hell yeah,
thats a men toy.
There are so many things in a relationship that get you closer or tear you apart. This series will show you some impressions you’ll have to handle during this thing called love.
A film about falling in love and the nine months later. The whole direction, including storytelling, filming and post production was completely done by myself. Big ups to Patrick Watson for his awesome music.
This is a magazine about my internship at Startbahnwest in Zurich. It was a credit for the next intern to work with top secret information about the country, the work and the people. Burn after reading.
These pictures are the result of a wonderful collaboration with the photographer Teresa Horstmann. I have set the light, done the post production and filmed a little bit. Master Chad Ochs edited the movie.
The gorgeous and talented photographer Teresa Horstmann asked me to make her homepage. This website creates a discovery and a way of
interaction between user and picture. And as you know, bigger is better.
Scripting done by Daniel Popken, Ruben Berecke and Jan Hoppe.
The following project shows the characteristics of some fonts. There are
12 different typefaces which attend you through the year.
You never gonna miss something. Even if you want to.
What a mess - it’s december 22nd and I’ve way too less presents for my family and friends. But I’ve got a lot of new music.
So I gallery up a tape, went out, shot some nice pictures and put it all together.
Let’s sing Jingle Bells.
The IHEHANA is a part of the donation Wakina Mama Na Watoto in Tansania. Every letter stands for a village which has its own water kiosk. Seven hands for seven letters for seven villages.
Be nice, safe water.
Here comes the business that makes dreams come true.
The Opernloft in Hamburg is a modern opera for teens and all those newbies who think opera is just not cool enough. They compress operas to their highlights (entire 90 minutes), so they’re just as short as a good movie. We took one of those gramps who achieve all clichés of a “classy” opera fan, gave him a breezy tongue and let him tell the operas stories. I’ve done conception, storywriting, regie and camera.
Home is where your heart is. Therefore we created an entrance for Startbahnwest at the Werbecongress excibition 2010, that shows where they come from.
You can explore the website entry, the booth, the guerilla, some giveaways and the book down here.
And boyaa, this worked. Lots of fresh
interns and so many new friends.
When I was a child, mommy told me once to do some artwork for those blank walls. I am a bit late, but here they are.
These are illustrations for musicians I like. Did I actually mention that I love all those freaky little creatures that are so much cooler than those boring humans? Hey, few of them got four eyes or eight arms. Not even spiderman could beat them!
The Werteindex is a book that shows how Germans discuss 12 elementary values of human beings. I’ve assembled the single elements to some super detailed artworks. Every piece tells its own story. So what do you value the most?
The Institute of Design asked me to create its new keyvisual. The result is an illustration of different things you get in touch with in this study,
characteristics you need and things you experience there.
I believe I can fly.
Your fingers have to be burning from scrolling, when you got here. Thanks for that.
